Easy Baby Shower "Guess How Many?" Game

If you're looking for a passive and easy to play game to add to your next baby shower, then consider setting up a "Guess How Many?" game. This is a common game at different parties because it's easy to set up and anyone can play.

For the game, you will need a large see-through container, such as a large glass jar or big glass vase. Then you will need to choose an item that you can fill the container with so that your guests can have a try at guessing how many of those items are in that container. Usually for this game, you should choose small items that you can purchase in bulk, like jelly beans or other type of hard candy.

For the guesses, you want to make sure that you have some blank slips of paper nearby so people can write their name and their guess on it, and a basket or other empty container where they can put their guesses. You can also find blank game sheets to print and cut out so you have slips of paper pre-printed and ready to go.

If you are having a themed baby shower, then you might consider items that match the theme of your event! For example, if you are having a "Cute as a Button" themed baby shower, then you use buttons as your item.

If you're having an "Under the Sea" themed party, then "pearls" - as in chocolate pearls - can make a great item! And if you are incorporating a candy bar into the event, then you can move the chocolate pearls over with the other candies so guests can take some home.

An important thing to consider when setting up this game is the size of your container and the size of your item. If you are using buttons, then you may not want a super gigantic vase because then it would look a bit funny if it wasn't filled up, and then again, you don't have to have to buy tons of any one item to fill up a huge container. If your container is small and you will be using a larger item, like mini rubber duckies, then you might not be able to fit too many in the container.

So it might be best to consider the item you want the guests to "count," then work on the container that would work best.

Another extra important thing to remember about this game is that you'll need to actually count the items going into the container before the event, so make sure you give yourself some time to count the items so you know the answer and will be able to award the guest who guesses closest the prize.
