Don't say "baby" is a classic baby shower game that is perfect for a coed and/or an all-ages baby shower. As your guests arrive, they will be given a clothespin to attach to their clothing. As the event continues, if a guest overhears another guest say the word "baby" (which is inevitable!), then that guest is allowed to take their clothespin to keep it for their own. Near the end of the event, the host should ask which guest has the most clothespins, and the guest with the most will win a prize (prize not included).
This backyard barbeque inspired design features a border of the classic gingham pattern along with a matching pennant banner floating across the top. The red and white color combination is ideal for a baby-q, red-white-and-blue theme, watermelon theme or even just a casual picnic theme. The gender neutral design will work whether the parents are expecting a boy, girl or want to keep it a surprise.
The instructions for the game are printed with large type face and reads: Please take a clothespin and attach it tight. Try not to say "baby" with all your might. If you hear someone say "baby," then snatch up their pin! If you have the most at the end, you win!
This is a great game for guests of all ages because it's easy to understand and play. Kids can definitely get into this game and it will keep them busy throughout the event. If you have guests that aren't into baby shower games, once their clothespin is taken, then they won't have to do anything else - they're done!
It's also a great excuse to get your guests to mingle - especially if you are inviting a lot of guests for different circles - family, friends, co-workers, school mates, neighbors, etc... what better way to get guests talking?
